HTC Desire Z Issues?

So Saturday my HTC desire z got pushed out of my hand and fell 3 feet to the ground,by my now EX boyfriend, but it looked fine when I picked it up. Sunday I got my new spare batteries off of ebay (I'm a poor college art student, thats why I choose ebay, 3 batteries and a charger for 12 bux) because the one that came with my phone isnt lasting long anymore. Anyways that night I started noticing issues with my phone. It keeps lagging and freezing and its restarts by itself often. Sending a simple texts now takes forever when it used to be super fast. I even cleared off Half of my app thinking it might help but nothing. My phone is unlocked for my carrier and I have tons of games that I have great progress on that I would be so scared to factory reset it. Suggestion plz?!

Are the batteries official HTC ones or 3rd party?

Sounds kind of typical of 3rd party batteries.

Someone may have a different idea, but Im inclined to think it's that.

Well crap, if it is the batteries, Do batteries like these count as official HTC or do they need the HTC stamped on the front to count? These are a different kind as from what might be giving me issues now?
