Just saw the news here that Lenovo showed off their very first smartphone running on Android 1.6 at the CES. Some say it looks cooler than the iPhone considering its peripherals, OLED screen and eveything.
Its on Android 1.6 but will be running on 2.0 when they release it... in China.

probably because they want to show it off at the CES? I read elsewhere that they are going to be available for us but Lenovo didnt give any details when that'll be.

I like the shape, but the clamshell, and weird keyboard don't do it for me.

Looks great, but the keyboard would probably be hard to get used to.

I think it's looking like my next phone. By the time my Droid contract is up, this or something as well suited to me should be available. Very encouraging to see what's coming.
Things I like: design of the phone, UI, option to take or not take the keyboard, screen resolution, Snapdragon processor

hmmmmmmmmmm, talking to myself here...

another don't like is it will probably be an AT&T phone if it does get here. Lenovo's little smartbook is going to come with an AT&T contract. Fail.
