    When is the droid 2.3 gingerbread update comin out for lg optimus u?

    I have the lg optimus u with the 2.2 froyo. Just wantin to update it to 2.3 gingerbread when it comes out. Does ne one have ne idea when its comin out? Just for example. What else can i do on my phone if its rooted. I changed the font. Overclocked and changed reboot image.

    Just to clarify, droid is a brand of smartphones from verizon. Android is the os.

    And it hasn't been announced when it will receive it, only that it will be receiving it eventually
