I have not had my Epic for very long, and I am trying to put some of the larger Apps that I've downloaded onto my SD card. I have not figured out how to do this.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

02-08-2011 03:30 PMI have a rooted Droid so my experience may be different. Tap menu, tap settings, tap applications, tap the app. If it can be moved to your SD card the "move to SD card" box will be white. Tap and it will move the app.

I've been on the fence about rooting my phone, but I don't know if I really trust it.

02-08-2011 03:57 PMI understand being apprehensive about rooting. I felt the same way but once I rooted I had not regrets. I do not have any experience with your particular phone so I'm not sure what other suggests to offer.

Plus, couldn't it damage your phone?

02-08-2011 04:01 PMI know you can return many of the phones to stock. I do not know for a fact that the Epic can but my sense is you can.
Yes, rooting has risks and, therefore, it is not for everyone. I can say that I do not know of anyone, on this forum, "bricking" their phone. Many have had issues but we they have always recovered.Forgive your enemies it messes with their minds! -
