    Help with moving Apps onto SD card

    Hello,

    I have not had my Epic for very long, and I am trying to put some of the larger Apps that I've downloaded onto my SD card. I have not figured out how to do this.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a rooted Droid so my experience may be different. Tap menu, tap settings, tap applications, tap the app. If it can be moved to your SD card the "move to SD card" box will be white. Tap and it will move the app.

    Thanks for the reply, but it doesn't even give me an option on any of my apps to move onto the SD card.

    I've been on the fence about rooting my phone, but I don't know if I really trust it.

    I understand being apprehensive about rooting. I felt the same way but once I rooted I had not regrets. I do not have any experience with your particular phone so I'm not sure what other suggests to offer.

    Now, if I knew a way I could root my phone and then in the future put it back to stock, I would be more apt to doing it..

    Plus, couldn't it damage your phone?

    If ii were to root my phone, what's the best course of action?

    I went from owning a Blackberry to now owning a droid phone. I will never go back.

    I know you can return many of the phones to stock. I do not know for a fact that the Epic can but my sense is you can.

    Yes, rooting has risks and, therefore, it is not for everyone. I can say that I do not know of anyone, on this forum, "bricking" their phone. Many have had issues but we they have always recovered.
