Help with moving Apps onto SD card

You see, the reason I want to root my phone is because I'm still living in cave man times with 2.1.

Samsung is AWFUL with their updates and I'm losing all faith that I'll ever experience 2.3, let alone Froyo.. That's why I'm wanting to root. I don't have a clue what I'm doing with it plus I'm very skeptical about going by some random walkthrough.

Ok, I've decided to root my phone. I posted something on the Sprint Droid forum, but have not gotten response. I think I'm just going to do it.

I just have to find a method I feel safe with. My only problem at the moment is that I'm not at a computer but am wanting to root.
