GIF images not animating??

So I really wanted to save this little adorable bastard that dances... pocoyo and it animates on my ipod but when I go to the website with the picture the thing doesn't dance?!?! Please help!!!

Download an animated gif viewer from the market, and make it the default viewer for gif files on your device. And that little sucker will dance away just like he does on your ipod.

At least he does on my G2

The one I'm using is Animated Gif Player, used search term "animated gif viewer", in the market. There were two or three others from that search result.

using "animated gif", turns up several other options in the market.

Hope you find an app or apps that fit what you need.

Animated Gif Player is pretty simple, just click on the image and you should be given a choice of image viewers to use Gallery, any other apps you might have install that view images.

Pick Animated Gif Player and make it your default viewer. Once you have done this, each time you click on a GIF, it should be viewed with Animated Gif Player.

Send me a Gtalk message and I'll walk you through it if you downloaded Animated Gif Player (really simple if you have the same menu options I do).

Hummmm, not sure why it does not work for you. So far I haveb had several people install an animated GIF viewer and it works.

Intact the animated icons here on the this site are animated, all the moving smilies work when I have it installed. If I uninstall it and reboot, they do not move. So I have to wonder if this is a Droid thing vs Android thing.
