Tough decision
Well I'm gonna take the plunge and get a new android phone. I've narrowed it down to two incredible or d2. I would get an x but because of finances and not wanting a flat screen tv size phone in my pocket. So help me decide forum. I currently have a d1 and like the physical keyboard but I'm not stuck on needed one. Help me out forum!!!!! I know you'll come through for me

The Inc. is a good phone so is the X but it is rather 'large' and it's rather thin for it's size so it's kind of awkward until you get used to it. The D2 is great but in all honesty I NEVER use my keyboard on my OG Droid (well, okay for recovery, but that's it) so I doubt I will get a phone with a physical keyboard again. What are you needing it for (work/production or fun/media)?
To be honest if there's any way you can hold out I would wait a bit and see if any new devices get confirmed release dates in the next week or so. It would really suck to get a phone now and then hear next week that xxxxx phone will be out in 2 more weeks (remember return period is only 14 days now). If you need a temp phone see if you can pick something up cheap on ebay or something until then.
You are right to be wary. There is much bullcrap. Be wary of me too, because I may be wrong. Make up your own mind after you evaluate all the evidence and the logic. - Mark Rippetoe

Common Misconception:
Leaving your GPS on drains battery.
Truth is: GPS is only used when you open an application that requires it. You can leave GPS toggled on at all times.

D2...you'd miss your reception and battery life

I'm not too worried about the latest and greatest. I do like that d2 comes stock with 2.2 and is google not bing. Bing is absolute crap
