Was wondering if anyone knew if flash support was coming for the Epic 4G.
Thanks in advance.

It should when you get 2.2 -- Samsung is always slow to release updates.
Ok. I'm new to a droid phone. I came from having a blackberry.
How do I know if I have 2.2, and will the flash support most web sites?
Settings < About Phone < Android Version
Samsung just started pushing out 2.2 last week, so it could be that you dont have it yet.
I don't see Android Ver. I see Firmware, which says version 2.1-update1.
There was a few more, but not Android. And when I try to update Android, it says my system is aleady up-to-date. I heard a rumor that people who did not have 2.2 already, were supposed to get it on 12/26.
Do often battery pulls help with updates?
I thought they had put a hold on the update. You might just have to wait a while. A battery pull isn't really a way to fix things with Android. You can just turn it off and turn it back on and it accomplishes the same thing.

batt pulls are only needed in dire times, like a freeze/lock up... other than that, just like your PC, a simple reboot will work wonders![]()
Awesome. Thanks guys for all your help as I am new with my phone.
I hope that update happens soon. This is still the best phone I have ever had. My only gripe is the battery life. I downloaded Task Manager and it seems to help, but am unsure since I'm always on my phone. It's almost like a laptop in my pocket.
