Okay so I think what I want to do with the final release is remove just about everything that is not essential to the phones performance and aren't key features/apps. One thing I was thinking was to get rid of a few apps most people dont use and then providing update.zips to replace those "missing" apps. What do you guys think of this idea?
Some of this apps I'm thinking about are
- Setup wizard
- Protips
- Carhomelauncher
- Genie widget
- Protips
- MIUI keyboard (stock is smaller by a lot)
- Wired Tether
- Wireless Tether
There are a few others but I dont know them off hand. I am not necessarily doing this regardless of what people want. I just want some feedback. Also, if theres apps you want removed (or added) that I didn't list let me know.

I would have to take a stroll through the stock apps to give you any more though.
I like the idea however.

11-21-2010 09:24 AMI know your goal here is a clean rom...I do have a question though.
After running Miui through it's iterations I have grown fond of the folders for grouping and the stock folders aren't so attractive.
