Says system update available?

This is a discussion on Says system update available? within the Android Roms forums, part of the Droid Hacking category; Hello, I am running FRG22 by Pete and today my phone told me I have a system update... Any ideas why this is coming up ...

    Says system update available?

    Hello, I am running FRG22 by Pete and today my phone told me I have a system update... Any ideas why this is coming up and how I can get rid of it?

    If you have a custom recovery then the update should download and then fail during installation, it is the only way I have heard of to stop the notification
