It's a real gray area as to which is more efficient. In the end I always say deodexed. It makes it easier to make changes to your phone when you want to and I'm not just talking about themes. I've heard that odexed is only faster on boot. I don't know if that's true, that's just what I heard, from someone I trust in the area.
