My vote is for SimpleROM v1.0 over at XDA. And p3's 1250 LV kernel. Im getting in the low 1200's from quadrant.
Sapphire 1.0 became glitchy after a couple days.
LFY was just as fast but started randomly freeze after 10 days of 'normal'* usage
*normal: Weeeeee! what does MD5SUM do? i don't need that! *delete* Why'd it freeze?
*restore* That pesky file is back! (lather rinse repeat...)
Ultimate Droid 7.0 is by far my favorite for the options and the responsiveness.
It's also the first rom my Droid has ever let me overclock past 1.1Ghz completely stable!
at 1.2Ghz i'm pulling 1594 Quadrant and 16.3 Linpack.
I know the benchmarks don't dictate how every app will run, but they do represent something noteworthy in UD 7.0

Definitely UD 7.0 running P3 125-1200 LV kernel! Was having problems with CM RC3, so i decided to try out UD 7.0 since it has so many choices of themes... and honestly, i didn't expect much since I haven't been on it for months...
But i was wrong... this is definitely my #1 ROM now
