I am a long time BB user, now running Lithium (with a ulow chevy kernel). Just wondering, how Lithium compares with Sapphire?
thanks

Personally, I like Sapphire better. Just seems to run smoother on my Droid.

This should be the only answer to any of these "this vs that" questions.
Why would you let the masses evaluate the quality of something for you. The masses become a mass because of the people who read no further than the first thing they see.
Not only are these both great ROMs but there is a section of great ROMs from gread Dev's that all work hard.
I have used them both, and they are virtually equal to me in speed and fluidity. I tend to lean a little more towards LithMod because of the allinone script, but with Abs Sys now available for most roms it's a slight lean. Can't go wrong with either- they are 1a and 1b in the rom world, IMO...
running LiQuID WMD now, and it's close to being 1a, 1b or 1c - check it out if you get a chance. Just as fluid and fast as those two!

I just switched from LM to Sapphire and they're both great. I suppose it's also a matter of principle since LM is based on Cyanogen and Sapphire is source-based. However, I know there has been some discussion among the LM devs about moving to Android Open Source Project base instead of CM. Regardless, both are great ROMs and I'd run either of them.![]()
I really love both these ROMs as well.
I switch back and forth, using Sapphire right now.
Might use LithMod next week.
Goodbye Droid...Hello Nexus!!!!
UD... cough cough
The Mooooooon!
I've used sapphire 1.0 using the 1ghz p3 kernal and it ran great, I had a few fcs with engadgets widget, but only one fc with LithiumMo using the equivalent kernal, however I'm staying with LM because i prefer its version of the nextheme and the option to clear the frequent calls list, it's just so stable on my phone, could be different on someone else's
CM 6.1.2
Stock Theme/ADW Launcher
P3's 1.2ghz LV Kernal
Quadrant 1709
Next phone: TBA
I think maybe the OP was wondering what are somethings that Sapphire offers that Lithium doesn't, and vice-versa. I am wondering the same thing myself, and would appreciate being able to see that for some of the other Roms.
