Official FRG01B: New ROMS?

Now that it looks like the official VZW update is FRG01B, will there be a flurry of activity to have ROMS rebuilt to this level for those based on prior builds?

Or, does it not matter?

i know pete is finishing up on bb .5 which is an FRG01 build. Im sure they all are though, I ran the leak of this build and it is faster than previous builds for sure. All my benchmarks went up not by much but i got the highest benchs on this build. And it just felt all around like a more solid build

I would agree this build is overall better. I can't wait to see what these guys do with thier ROM's. I just wish I could use them. maybe at some point my X will get a chance to have some custom rom's available too

UD 4.0 (and I imagine UD 5.0) is based on FRG01, and I noticed a pretty decent overall performance increase when going from FRF84B/FRF91 (UD 3.5) to FRG01 (UD 4.0).

UD 5.0 is running like butta...

The same will be said for Sapphire 1.0, and probably the next release of cyanogen.

Future rom's don't count, if that is the case then every Tom will be based off of the newest code.

Switched to UD5 from sapphire and wow. Will never go back!

on UD 5.0 as well and while it is fast.. BD ROMs always have been blazing fast as a whole... and it you go to about phone you will see that it's not based off of FRG01 but FRF84B...so wait till it is built off 01...sick it will be

I'm pretty sure that 5.0 is based on FRG01, as was 4.0. The FRF84 is probably something that he forgot to change.
