    Rubik 1.0

Ever had something so hard to solve or fix it felt like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube?

    Meet this rom, Rubik 1.0

It's been a pain in my rear end to get it going and how I want it, it seems like 2.2 has been a little more complicated than 2.1, and me not having any "official" developing background, it seems to be that much more difficult.

    This rom features:

Virgin deodexed FRF84B (credit to Pete for releasing, Google for producing)
    Fully optimized and zipaligned system
42 mb of free space in system for extra speed (bare version features 58 mb free)
All natural system app's still included
    Chevy's 800 mhz LV Kernel
Custom speed/battery life tweaks credit to Boostdscoob and myself
Stock theme for now, but ANY FRF84B theme will work
    Droid X Boot Animation
HQ Recording Tweak (Credit to the person who made the write up for the value tweaks to media_profiles.xml, I can't remember right now)
    Ringer Delay turned down

1150-1200 Quadrant scores with 800mhz kernel! Blazing fast, no lag, and amazing battery life.

This is just the start of something big to come, I still have a lot planned for this rom, including an exclusive theme, full 360* rotation, and numerous other options and features.

    now for the download:

    ninebysix.com/boostdscoob/Drod/drod_rubik1.0-BDS-20100718-1339.rar

    NANDROID INSTALL:
    Unzip
put in nandroid folder in sdcard
    reboot into sprecovery
wipe data/cache unless coming from another frf84b rom, but it's still recommended
    advanced nandroid restore
    reboot
    enjoy

    Recommend:
    ChevyNo1 kernels
    ADW Launcher

Why didn't anyone tell me the backup was corrupt? You guys are horrible users! Kidding.

Made a new backup, should be working:

thx dude I finally got it up and running, had to put Iron Man theme on top. Can't wait for updates you have in mind. I have heard good things about this ROM, one question though. Is set cpu recommended with this ROM if flashing a higher kernel, or is it like Pete's where the ROM automatically goes for highest set? Thx again

Shouldn't be a need for fix permissions, and i'm not sure if it works on any rom but cyanogen mod, i've never used it before. There is a need for setcpu with faster kernels, but something similar to auto scaling is in the plans for a future release. Expect a new release tonight or tomorrow once Team Awesome and I put some finishing touches on it for a release, but expect a surprise

SWEET can't wait to see what you guys have up your sleeve. Yes I have bounced around ROM after ROM and their fix permissions always works, but I guess we all good if I don't need to. Yea I noticed BB ran a little better after uninstalling Setcpu, so I'll go back untill you unvail your version. Thx again for all the hard work.
