I have noticed several roms utilizing auto-clocking, auto-overclocking now, for me finding any way to make my battery last as long as possible is key #1, maybe I dont understand autoclocking fully, but wouldnt that drain a battery more rapidly?

I have noticed several roms utilizing auto-clocking, auto-overclocking now, for me finding any way to make my battery last as long as possible is key #1, maybe I dont understand autoclocking fully, but wouldnt that drain a battery more rapidly?
In BB 0.4 Pete has an auto script that starts on boot and it automatically sets your max to the highest slot avalible and the min to 250, it also uses on demand as it's govener so it works very well. If you NEED to have profiles you can run setcpu over the top and it works fine.
Would think other roms with this feature work similar but I'm not sure.
