    I want a new ROM
One that won't make me sick
One that won't make me crash my car
Or make me feel three feet thick.

    (I had to do it!)

I had tried 6 Roms in the last 3 days

    UD 3.5 with LUNA theme
    Team Chaos Red Rum Theme
    SS 4.4
    SS 4.5
    CM6
    BB 0.4 DE 2.2 theme

The ones that perform better for me are, SS 4.5, Team Chaos, and UD No FC's at all, no lag, smooth, no issues at all, out of these 3, I'm running SS 4.5 now.

With CM6 I keep getting FC's on ADW and LP
With BB 0.4 my downloads from the market won't start until I rebooted.

I'm waiting for the new release of UD 4.0 sometime today, I'm sure it will be a great rom as always.

Seriously, after trying out all of the newest ROMS, I have landed on UD 3.5 w/Luna and I will be sticking with it for a while (until 4.0!). Smooth, fast, very customizable and it looks great.

    IMHO

I switch between BB .4 and Sapphire 0.8.4. So far I think Sapphire is a clear winner IMO.

Having worked extensively with most of the current ones I think they are all consistent and have no "drama" involved. They all are as smooth and stable as stock..just have more features...and trust me, I stress them hard making changes (and mistakes) while creating the Themes for them.

The only one I didn't like and removed after a short while was UD 3.5 but mainly because of the non-stock font.. hard to read for my old eyes.

So far any of these would be keepers IMHO, it's just down to the small details/features you like best (in no particular order):

    FRF84B (stock deodexed)
    BB v0.4
    SS V4.5 (or 4.4)
    Sapphire 0.8.4
    Insanely Clean v1.1
    CM6-RC1

With a good CLEAN install and the RIGHT kernel anyone should be happy with the performance of these. Quite frankly Froyo 2.2 has made the biggest impact with speed, as I said the rest is down to the details/features of each Custom ROM.

What part of "This is pointless" don't people understand? It's truly, truly, hard to go wrong with any rom that you can find released in the last month and a half. Seriously. As long as it is the most recent release from the developer, they are ALL GOOD. CAN WE LET THIS REST? GOOD.

    Exclamation

Here are a few ROMs I have tried and will recommend, numbered by my favorites.

    #1-Froyo Kangerade
    #2-Bugless Beast
    #3-ChevyNo1's SS

Any of these are good ROMs, but I would recommend trying them all until you find the one you like the most.
