which rom has the best battery life?

team chaos drains my battery super fast with medium use, bugless beast drained out my battery even faster though. cyanogen didnt as much but was too slow for me.

I'm using the leaked stock FRF84b build (with the .43 baseband), and it has absolutely phenomenal battery life for me. Much better than any custom ROM I've ever used. So I'm sticking with it.

have 8 hrs max with any froyo build I've checked. wifi/3g does not make any difference. going to look at bugless .04 and if thats no better going back to CM508 which could get me 17 hrs.

I've been using Simply Stunning v4.3 Froyo and I get close to a full day of non stop use with mine.

CM5.0.8 Has been the best of any ROM for me so far (I haven't tried any Froyo roms yet though, I'm holding out for CM6 =D)

I had been using the droid-life froyo. Just moved today to BB .4. Left the house at 60%, used the phone at a store for about 5 minutes, came home and was down to 20%. Out about 90 minutes.

Threw it on the charger and will check it after leaving it off all night.

I think BB .4 Has to be the best so far.

As of right now: Still at 30%

    Time since last unplugged 15h 24m 12s
    Display 47% - 4h 2m 43s

Was browsing the web for 2 hours.
Using eBuddy on Facebook Chat for like 3 hours.

    Wi-Fi 4% - 5h 0m 43s

    This is just epic.

    SetCPU running 1000 Max - 250 Min

Screen Off 250 Max -250 Min

EDIT: Wow, I didn't have the sleep profile enabled. Sweet...
    EDIT 2: Running Chevy's ULV 1.0GHz

Wouldn't the clock speed, voltage settings, usage and prefs(setcpu profiles, brightness, gps enabled, etc) have considerably more to do with battery life then a ROM? In my opinion the average user cant really test a ROM's ability to hold battery life because there are no controlled variables. One user can say "my BB .04 lasts 25 hours" and be running at 550mhz on an ulv kernel, no backlight, 3 text messages total and another user can say "my BB .04 lasts 2 hours" because their running 1.1 mhz medium voltage with full backlight playing homerun battle 3d..

Secondly I believe a lot of battery saving "features" are shared between ROM developers like LWP enhancements and others... I blame battery life solely on my usage and kernel type.. regardless of the FRFXX or CM x.x.x
