    I'm ready to dive into this how rooting/flashing thing. Is there a thread/site that provides an overview of the differences/features found in the different ROMs.

    For the differences in different roms you will have to go to the seperate pages and see the different features in each one of them.

    That would be a really great thread for us novices, but I don't think the developers would take the time to explain in detail what they have done; could leak some super secret stuff I guess.

    Added Droid 2 section with links telling you how to put on a custom recovery, how to root the Droid 2, and a link to the Droid 2 .SBF file (along with links to the Droid 1 and X .SBF files).
