Fix for poor audio quality on froyo?

I stream pandora and other things all the time and the quality is just terrible on froyo. I even tried a regular headphone jack and it is not much better. Anyone have any fixes for this?

I don't have a fix for it. I jsut wanted to chime in and say that I'm having the same issue.
everything seems muffled and the bass just doesn't hit anymore.

Same problem here as well. Tried a few different Rom but still crappy sound. I ended up going back to a 2.1 because I use Pandora so much I couldn't handle the crappy sound.

Same here. Latest froyo from JRummy. It seems like it could even be a Pandora bug, where it uses an API that puts out a much lower bandwidth voice quality. The sound quality of other things, like the rings, are fine. It seems to be only with Pandora...

it could be because pandora updated recently but mine seems to sound fine although im using wifi

I switch from 2.1 to froyo on a daily basis. I have several issues with apps & froyo, I can't wait till the official OTA comes out

When I read that in the options on Pandora it had me a little scared cause I don't want my phone to mess up or overheat. But I will have to try that.

I have mine on high quality and it makes no difference. Its a night and day difference. Ill go back to froyo when something is built from source.

Problem is not just with Pandora, I use Rhapsody and the sound quality was much better until I updated to Froyo. I'm gonna have to go back to 2.1 as well.
