In rom manager their is an option to go back to stock
-take control of your nexus experience: Make the Vzw Galaxy nexus your Galaxy Nexus. Fastboot oem unlock (to find out how ask a rescue squad member).
there is a section in ROM Manager called Stock Images under that tab is 2 ROMs a rooted 2.1 and a stock unrooted 2.0.1 just flash that and it will bring you back to stock image. I would highly recommend you making a nandroid backup of your current ROM in case something ever happened while flashing. Your only other option is to flash the 2.0.1 SBF File with RSD Lite ( which is a lot more risky then the ROM Manager way ). hope this helps you
Man, I wince to see this kinda thing happen. If you didn't research how to how to return to a virgin 2.1 update 1 ROM after rooting and flashing a custom ROM, why did you root in the first place? These phones ain't cheap and Verizon is a ruthless beast. No sympathy here, sorry.
Verizon win.

Floyd. Settle down. Thanks
I don't like Rom Manager, you could try:
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/hac...ht=root+unroot
I've used it many times
box option 1 then 5 or 6 if you do 6 you will have to uninstall apps that use root, if you do 5 it will wipe your entire phone (not sd card)
New To Rooting?
1. What you need to know about rooting
Want to root or to get to stock/unroot?
2. SBF to root 2.1 and to unroot any D1 OS
3. Root Droid 1 - regardless of OS version
4. Root your Thunderbolt

Bro I successfully unrooted a week ago and as soon as the process was complete and I signed back into my phone I received the official OTA 2.1... I researched like crazy on how to but I think the easiest way was thru here... rootyourdroid.info they have an unrooting section and it was CAKE with pictures to help... hope this helps...

Thanks for the help guys. Except for Floyd. Haha.
I help that the replacement I get is 2.0. If it is already 2.1 what is the easiest way to root it??
Well like I said as soon as my unrooting process was over and I signed in with my Google account I got the update screen. From 2.0.1 to 2.1 in seconds. I don't think I'm rooting anymore, everything custom roms have, I have... only advantage is a rooted phone gets to play with soon to be updates before a stock phone waiting for an OTA update. I think I can handle the wait. I do miss OCing and tethering tho![]()
