    apps when root

    Is there a way to back up your apps before you root? I am ready to root and install custom rom.

    ASTRO will backup apps. If you're changing ROMs, I'd use AppBrain to sync to the market, so you can simply reinstall with the latest version.

    also after you sign in to google then opens market it will show all your apps... yes all if you just set your phone down for around 10-20 minutes and not mess with it it will automatically reinstall all your apps.

    In my 4+ months of Droiding and ROM Flashing, I've never seen this behavior. Can anyone second this?
