I believe all the 'E' builds are Eclair, looks like the N1 froyo build is FRF50

Didnt the Droid have ROMs based off of ERE27? Now is the time I wish I was more organized.....

EDIT: I guess the Droid did have ROMs based on ERE27. After reading this, I have a lil hope....I might just try now....I may take an officially bricked phone for the team ...lol

Isnt it possible someone with ROM knowledge can take that old ROM and mix some FroYo in it?

I did find an old ROM based off ERE27. Im installing it to see something...Even still, I know the ROM creators are all over this, seeing it was done already for the Droid with ERE27.

Yeah, good stuff, but beware, I have found some stuff that said the Moto Droid and all other non-Nexus One phones are extremely unstable and even impractical with the ported versions of 2.2 so far. I think I will wait a week or so and then re-evaluate my 2.2 port

i'll be compiling a stock rom as soon as the source is available, and only releasing it if it is stable. i may not be the first, but it will be a from source build with everything, if we can figure out what is required for the newest gapps to function properly

Nexus isn't cdma... different hardware platform entirely. We need source to compile for the droid platform.

Good point Joel. I was hopping to get some 2.2 for the Droid soon. Oh well. :(
