Best Rom on ESE81 base?

So I have my stock OTA 2.1 Moto Droid which is now rooted. Looking at all the great roms out there now and wondering what you guys think is the best rom based on ESE81.

I'M RUNNING THIS AS WE SPEAK...RUNS PERFECT, EVERYTHING WORKS AND LOOKS GREAT...I'M OC'ED AT 1.2GHZ WITH THE GDE 'HERO' THEME RUNNING AS MY 'LAUNCHER'.....VERY SMOOTH AND NO FC'S OR ISSUES....

cyan.5.x.x.7.....very stable...nice
ultimate droid v10.....very stable...easy to use...lots of goodies
so many diffrent roms out there...how can you choose just one?....ive got a few in rotation!!!!LOL

Cant argue with you pepsi, there are a bunch of great roms and I may end up doing the same thing you do.

ULTIMATE DROID V10 is by far the best out. Blackdroid (he is the ROM creator) is very responsive and gets issues (if there even is an issue)worked out very quickly.

I was on ultimate droid from 5.5 to 9.8. V10 worked horribly on my phone and I switched to chevy's simply stunning today. So far its very fast and responsive and hasn't had any glitches really. It's not as "feature" oriented as some but i just want speed over all others now that the helix (the original) launcher came out and gave me what i wanted

cyanogen is the best rom out there hands down. has the best devs in the busniess building and working on it.

Cyanogen may be regarded as "The Best", and rightfully so.. but it will not stay on my Droid until there is a version that is 100% FOR THE DROID..the HTC bits need to be gone..

I am not dissin' CM in any way.. just waiting for the Droid port to be complete.

As you can tell this is a very subjective topic. I would suggest trying out some of the well know, well supported and popular roms out there and decide for yourself. There are a lot of good ones out there... some just fit different peoples needs better.
