copying files to sdcard without pc

Is there a way to download the update.zip or ROM files and move them from the download directory to the root of the sdcard without using your PC? Possibly a file manager that lets you move files around on the sdcard?

Astro file manager is free on the market although I would recommend getting root explorer, it's a paid app but offers alot more for a rooted droid than astro.

Once you have the file manager just download the update.zip from your phones browser, then open the file manager and locate the update.zip(this should be in a downloads folder on your sd card) and move it to the root of your sd card

thanks. I just couldn't figure out how to do it with Astro. I read the help page and see now how to do it. Thanks again for the quick reply

I've been doing atleast 1 ROM a day using Astro to move and extract files into nandroid. Depending on my connection, it takes me about 10-15 minutes to boot a new OS. oh the joy!!!!!
