OK so now that I see metamorph works with .7 (but not .8? weird...) can I use the update method to make .8 to .7 and than metamorph the hell out of it? haha

And yeah, I have no clue how to do that haha. ADB push I could do if a walkthrough was explained haha. Maybe someone can do one for the ese53? or if there is one link me in the right direction? haha. I feel so bad asking for help I feel like such a noob but I'm slowly getting a grip on this whole thing.

why does it not work with chevy or adamz's rom then? are you sure its ese53, not ere25?

It says its 2.1 compatible with the darkmod thing... so I figured what the hell and try it... but its being such a pain since metamorph isnt working with .8 ... so I'm gonna "update" to .7 and give it a whirl..

I just want a smoked glass theme with blue accents for the BB 2.1 ROM haha.

ok so i went to .7 and metamorph STILL isn't working. I'm so lost...

AND for some reason I can only have my phone in debug mode if I want my computer to recognize it, but when I put my girlfriend's virgin droid to my computer, it recognizes it instantly. Do I have to start from scratch? I will be very upset. haha

Yes I'm sure buddy. It was Ere25 when I started using it on v.03, but he changed it to ese53 around version .05 I think.

Maybe it's a fluke, but my buddy upgraded right alone with me and we were playing with combining metamorph themes to make them the way we wanted them.

In fact, if I remember right, the ere25 roms were the ones that we couldn't get metamorph to work on...

Don't get too excited...lol...I'm not sure I can pull it off now that I look at it...I'be only pushed apks so far...and I'm not quite sure what would need to be pushed...Maybe Jason can answer that for me...Do I just package the framework-res folder into a zipped file and make it an .apk, or is there more to it?

UPDATE: Found out I'd have to adb pull it, then put in the changes, then adb push it back...Not sure how comfortable you are with REALLY getting your hands dirty with system files...
