i couldn't modify framework on chevy's ese53 and i can't on adamz ese53 and i thought i read somewhere that you cant metamorph framework on an ese53 rom.

there was a member here who has an update.zip that smokes a whole bunch of things including framework, and i thought it said in his thread that on ese53 roms you couldn't modify framework with metamorph.

Also, I had this theme [PHONE THEME] Droidinator BY ManigMa {NEW and Improved} Now with Metamorph!! working just fine most recently, but don't have a screenshot, but if I nandroid back to v.07, my phone looks like this...

When the screen is in standby, does your led for texts work? 2.1 ROMs are like that. If the screen is on, the led doesn't flash for notifications. If the screen is in standby mode, it should still work. Mine are working on BBv.08.

I am running Bugless Beast 0.8 ese53 2.1 ROM... and the LED is just not working at all.

So wait, BB 0.7 (being a 2.1 rom) can use MM, but 0.8 can't??

If I can use MM in 0.7, I'll downgrade to it to get MM themes to work...

Oh? So wait, MM works on BB 0.7 but not 0.8? If that's the case I'll drop down and MM the hell out of it.

i'll try it on mine in a few minutes and see if i can get it working. im on a beta version of AdamZ ese53.

also my led notification works just fine when in standby.

got a smoked pandora widget working.

did it exactly like this and it worked:

ok so I installed pandora from the market
I used Root Explorer to copy Pandora.apk from my sdcard to /system/app
I open terminal
su
chmod 644 /system/app/Pandora.apk
sync
reboot

I went to market and uninstalled pandora
open terminal
su
sync
reboot

that's it. it worked perfectly.

on ese53 roms you can't modify the framework with metamorph. you can modify it and then push it with adb. not sure exactly how to do that though.

And yeah, I have no clue how to do that haha. ADB push I could do if a walkthrough was explained haha. Maybe someone can do one for the ese53? or if there is one link me in the right direction? haha. I feel so bad asking for help I feel like such a noob but I'm slowly getting a grip on this whole thing.
