    yes indeed
ok, so I really do like his rom, but question for you since your bench pics and stuff were what made me kinda want to try it out. Was jit what got your setcpu bench down to like 115 short 330 long? at 1ghz no jit i was hitting mid 200's short bench and like 700 something for long bench. running the same oc kernel (the only one apparently) i don't know where the speed difference is from?

also I don't suppose you know how to install jit without droid root helper pro. I hate to be cheap lol but I really can't go buy apps right now. I'm unclear why using that program makes jit work magically but mounting like everyone says to cause everything to massivley FC over and over and over.....ad nasuesm lol.

also koush mentioned that other kernels will in fact work with his rom but they need to be ... packaged or made to work with his ramdisk or something like that? would be nice to see some more optimized options for kernels.
I too would like to see more kernels. And yes, I am running the normal 1ghz kernel that came with 1.0.2. My short bench was never that low with this ROM (best I got was 159ms but it was a one-time fluke) 190ms is my short, but 304ms is my long

Lol I tried that one, I did by hand like you usually do, I used an update.zip i found.... everything results in everything instantly forceclosing on boot. Unless permissions or something are being screwed up?
Exactly what is happening to me.

Ipushed over the same JIT files I've had from january. I do it manually, gives more specific control
Can you link to a post for these?
I got a better idea... message coming your way

Thank you kindly. Everything is all peachy and I even have that black licorice theme but it says tcdma64 isntead of verizon *shrug* i think the file was not made correctly for koushes recovery to use as an update.zip... at least that's what the last post said I think.

Runs like a freaking champ. Unbelievable. I mean I've used almost every rom out there and I've used quite a few kernels. i thought I'd be slow only maxing at 1ghz.... nope. thing is faster then any rom i've used with 1.2ghz even with it set on performance and sliders maxed out.... that's something to me

and for me benches count a bit more then just how I feel so. short 160-180 avg 175. long bench.. low 300's 304 was my best and I got it multiple times. I'm not exactly sure how the benchmarks translate into real world performance but it def has performance alright. and a working jit! lol. on the new 2.1 ese53 based roms jit made long benches go into the 3400-3500ms range =(

anyways It's working and I'm happy as a dancing... uhhh this guy ->

The benches don't translate to real world performance. At least, not in the case of what JIT enhances. There are almost no apps that are coded to use JIT.

Oh I agree with you. I'm just one of those people that kinda dislike when people say things like it "feels fast" I like to have something quantifiable that I can look at and see a difference. I just don't know how to do it without using those benches lol. I know they don't mean very much. So I guess i"m stuck just saying this rom feels fast! bleh
