what do you think is the best rom at the moment?

I have to ask what the real differences are? I of course know stability is #1, but beyond that. If one person is running great with BB v.8 using Chevys kernal 1.2 is there any advantage to trying another one out? This is a legite question...is there one that is offering something that another is not? Otherwise, what is the point? If someone is running without issues and there is nothing to offer any advantage, then why change? That being the case, then there is no one best, just one that is completely stable for that person. Correct?

Blackdroid's roms have been the most stable to me. v7.5 is pretty beast.

Have to admit Dominator + Chevy's 1GHz Kernel= Simply Dominating haha lol, yeah I know bad pun...Have to admit though his JIT implementation was the most stable for me coupled with Chevy's 1GHz Kernel.

What is the advantage running Blackdroid over Petes BB?

I have tried Bugless .07 with Chevy kernel -- runs great. Best temps from this rom.
Also Ultimate Droid 7.5 with Adamz kernel -- runs great. Temps a bit higher, but I like the system overall.

Tried Adamz's rom w/kernel (for 2.1 launcher) and it force closed constantly and ran hotter than either above.

Haven't tried others yet. I've done a backup on each of these (with Titanium Backup for apps) so I can swap and try 'em out. If I can find out what's up with Adamz rom I will try it again, but for now I just have to assume the 2.1 launcher is the main cause. I love that app tray, but it's not worth the constant fcs.

That said, the two other roms above I couldn't even open the tray at all -- would choose the Launcher(2) and it would force close immediately. So, Adamz's rom worked better for the 2.1 launcher than any of the three.

I would LOVE TO KNOW why one of these "machines" can work better on one rom, and another work better with another, when it's all the same freaking stuff !!!

A lot of people report running much lower temps that I see. Mid to high 40's is common for me doing just about anything. 30's I hit if I'm doing nothing. On Adamz's rom I was into the mid 50's at idle
