Yeah, this thing NEEDS some overclocking. I've tried some attempts at it, and always failed. I'm new to the devel for the droid scene so, I'm sure that's why. But, this overclocked, would be perfect.


This is hands down the best 2.1 rom yet....Can't wait to see what it evolves into.

Been running this since yesterday afternoon and have had almost no problems. I was stuck in a boot loop at first, but wiping data fixed that. It is a tad slow, and I had a reboot when I was using a live wallpaper, but other than that it's great. Once it gets overclocking ability it will be awesome.

Edit: One more thing. No keyboard backlight. A bit of an inconvenience, but I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

Yeah first thing I noticed was keyboard backlight too, but its not a big deal and should probably be fixed soon anyways. I have had 2 random reboots but im almost certain its from live wallpapers because it only happens when i back out of an app kinda fast to the home screen. it will freeze and then reboot itself. but if i back out slow or just hit the home button I dont have issues.

It seems like the new forum layout has locked me out of my account over there. I can't even get an email to change my pw, so I can't update my threads there.

I did a test real quick with a MM file I created (transparent scrollbars), and it seemed to worked out fine with no ill effects. If you'd like to see for yourself, check out my thread in the themes section:

The .thm files I've created only edit PNGs and no XML files so as long as the locations and apk names don't change, these should work for all versions of Android supporting hdpi. Don't worry that the file says it's only for 2.0.1, I didn't know it'd work until now. I'm guessing the MM themes that don't work change around some of the XML files.

I love the ROM and am just waiting for OC... as for MM I've downloaded a couple nexus themes for cyanogenmod and they worked fine for me. YMMV but so far I've had no problem with MM but again I'm doing minimal themes...

Just saw v1.0.1 is available and includes OC. DL'ed and will try installing on train.
