Yeah I have been since koush released it last night. I like it a lot so far the only advice I would give is to avoid using live wallpapers because it can occasionally cause the phone to lock up and reboot. IMHO it's by far the best 2.1 release so far of the ones I have tried. For extra speed you can choose the "Home" launcher and set it to default on first boot but then you miss out on the eye candy of the 2.1 launcher which I am using (choose "launcher" and set it to default if that's the one you want) This rom also comes with a nice collection of ringtones and wallpapers.

Kind of a bummer about the live wallpaper since I am currently using the starfield one as mine on Pete's 2.1 with no issues at all and im only at 600mhz. So other than that you have had no issues with anything? I really think I'm about to take the plunge but it all depends on if I can get Chevy's new kernel running on my phone or not. I've been having problems bootlooping when trying to install new kernels. Anyways thanks for all the help!

*EDIT* When I try and right click on the "Droid" link once you get to his blog all it does is save it as a web page and Im sure this is not what I want to put on my phone correct?? What the hell am I doin wrong?

Question, I do realize that this requires his own recovery image. It doesn't seem too complicated to install but can I restore a SPRecovery from Clockwork to revert back or would I have to manually install it like you did in a previous post?

yes, I just clicked on it regular

as far as reflashing sprecovery, you can do it however you like. The adb way is very simple, but if youre more comfortable with droid root pro or the droidmod service, they should work just fine as well

I would try the same link with a different browser when you get home, just clicking on it should work it will be a .img file. I thought right click save as might help but I guess not.

By the way you might not have any problems using live wallpaper with the old "home" launcher in this rom, I think it's the combination with the new launcher that causes the issue.

Yeah internet explorer just pulls up a page with a bunch of jibberish and if I go up to file and hit save as it only give me options for saving as an html file. Basically just a freaking webpage save lol

ok apparently internet explorer sucks ballz because im at home on firefox now and it saved as an image file! go figure
