SPRecovery stuck while trying to Restore - BIG HELP NEEDED

I am apparently stuck while trying to recover to a previous ROM version. The SPRecovery tool gets me started but I am apparently stuck at the "Unpacking data image. . ." line and it just sits here staring at me. . . and I have no idea what to do? Has anyone experienced this?

What options do I have? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hopefully someone can help you with this. If not, you always have the option to put it back in factory condition:

Unroot/Unbrick your phone using .sbf

yea the worse case scenario will be that you'll have to use sbf and flash to right out of the box settings. Assuming you did an advanced nandroid backup though, you can just reroot, reinstall sprecovery, then restore your system to exactly how it was complete with all of your settings. Now that we have the sbf we don't have to worry about bricking phones unless its due to a hardware issue.

I believe I may have even complicated things further by selecting wipe/factory reset. From there I tried to do a SPRecovery back up and again stuck at same point. I will wait until tomorrow mid day and see what other suggestions folks have and then will go forward with the unroot/unbrick link that you posted (thank you)

Well I have done the .sbf option and the RSDLite got up to 99% and my Droid appears to be within the Boot Loader, but now the RSDLite is just sitting at 99% and the phone has not rebooted. I will just let it sit as I don't know how long the overall process takes. If this doesn't work, I guess I will be visiting the Verizon store tomorrow for a replacement.

EDIT: I am reflashed and have added back all of my applications. Will root and get back to BB1.1 tomorrow (well actually later today :-( ).
