Agreed i think hes putting himself up on a pedestal to much, what he is forgetting is that its a forum your going to be having people ask questions and you either chose to help them or ignore them by saying its still alpha and your on your own. in my opinion he needs to grow up a littel as he seems to be treating people on their like children. bashing aside i think the rom development has been going well and would have loved a release of the ril this week but oh well if its pushed back as long as theirs more work done i dont care.

I think that's so true. He doesn't have to respond to every post that comes up. Just ignore it and continue developing.

doesnt mead he has to get power hungry. look at the PR for apple. did they push back the iphone when everyone literally hassled triple times than we did. hes just acting like hitler. anyways. i was looking forward to the rom. definitely the best work ive seen. way better than some of the other sense portz ive seen on other devices

Just an update:
He(boostd) did apologize for being a but hasty and explained some stresses he has been under, and that the ril i snot in fact working just yet. Might ba another week. He was having a tough night, and today stepped up and cleared things. The public chat is now open and being mediated as it should be. I spoke with him personally about just letting the dumb people with bad questions go on their own to save him some stress. Things seem to be going on the smooth end at this point.

i flashed it last night. AWESOME rom, but i use my phone constantly throughout the day seeing as how its my business phone. Once the ril starts working i will be switching over from cyanogen.

Many of you need to understand this is one of the biggest undertakings as far as a rom has been concerned on the droid yet considering on top of porting the rom from the incredible (easy part) we are having to also port and write entire new interface drivers (not a copy paste event here) for the hardware (radio being the trickiest). Of course having neither the Motorola or HTC radio interface source makes things even more difficult to figure and troubleshoot.

Give them patience lots of long all nighters have been pulled on this give it time. Boot along with others has had to listening to people every five minutes with their F5 keys taped down asking "ril done yet, ril done yet" like a broken record or kids on a long road trip lol!.

there pretty much are daily updates over at alldroid... but that RIL really giving the devs a tough time
