"Attempting Nandroid Default Backup" just sits there forever

Am I missing something? I checked and have 6GB of free space on my SD Card. I can boot into DroidMod 1.0 no problem and everything is working ok once booted.

I also looked and can see the nandroid backup it made prior to flashing with DroidMod 1.0.

However, if I reboot into recovery mode and try to do a simple nandroid backup then it never does anything...just sits there with no progress indicator changes, even after 5 minutes.

    Ideas?

    Tried that twice...no go.

Is there a way to reinstall the recovery image?

Do Advanced nandroid backup. I've never even done anything other than advanced backup and restore and never a problem.

What Jsta said. Always do a Advanced Nandroid backup. Default isn't worth it.
