Can I use sholes to get the live wallpaper?

Right now i'm using sholes 2.0.5 and am curious if I can use the live wallpapers like I see other people doing.

I'm using 2.0.6 and all the good LWs just FC'd and never worked.

And trust me, even if you could, it's not worth a shat

It was a beta release and you will have to install 2.0.6 manually, since there is no SMUpdater anymore....

If you want the ROM file, I suggest checking out my signature and joining the IRC channel of the new DroidDev team

I still have the 2.0.5 ROM and the LW work just fine. I didnt install the 2.1 launcher so its not interactive, but it looks cool. You can tell though it takes up a good chunk of RAM and switching screens isnt as butter smooth as before.

Yeah, that's enough reasons for me NOT to use them even if they didn't FC on me. Why waste that RAM space? Or sacrifice "butter smooth" screen switching?

I'm running 2.0.5 with lw, no 2.1 launcher, with gde, and it runs really smooth at 800mhz too, only one downloaded lw fc'd. they're interactive and fantastic. I'm sure that will wow factor will fade in a few more days but its great for showing off! have had zero issues with 2.0.5 or gde, this will always be my nandroid backup that I default to.

Running LW on 2.0.5 with no fc's and it runs as smooth as with static wallpaper. OC is set to 800 conservative. Tried 2.0.6 but it was not nearly as smooth. went back to 2.0.5 after wipe.

sholes which has now become droidmod has a 1.0 release and comes with live wallpapers.

Oh man, I unrooted from Sholes waiting for the real 2.1 - now the new Sholes (DroidMod) has live wallpapers - stop making this a difficult decision for me!
