Red Rocket ROM V-1

I've had these pictures in my profile for a while and been getting a lot of messages from people asking where I got the red theme for my droid.
Since I themed it myself, the next question was always are you going to post it up as a ROM.

So, I went back to stock and starting working on applying my theme and adding the various hacks available, since I don't want publish just a skinned version of someone else's hard work.

Naturally a totally original ROM is impossible, since everyone wants the 2.1 apps (me included) that others have worked hard to give us. OC'ing and wireless tether were also a must. So I'd like to first thank everyone who has made ROM's even possible to all of us Droid users and the hard work they have all put into their hacks.

Updated build.prop to allow market downloads of Live Wallpapers

Nandroid Backup Installation Instructions:
-Update (if available) all of your apps before installing
-Backup any files you wish to restore, just to be safe.
-Extract the files from the archive using WinRAR, 7zip, etc.
-Place the extracted folder into the nandroid folder on your sdcard
-Reboot into recovery mode
-Wipe data/factory reset (for best performance, but is optional, there is no data in my backp)
-Backup/Restore
-Advanced Nandroid Restore
-Choose backup (select the ROM)
-Perform Restore
-Celebrate!

Hope this makes looking at your Droid enjoyable as it has for me if you choose to run it.

Is this stable though? I mean, what are any issues you've had with it?

Ya doing the .zip version now, be updated shortly.

As far as issues go, i've been running this about 5 days now and haven't come across anything so far.
Tethering with wep is fine and nice speeds.
Autobrightness and keyboard backlighting haven't been an issue like I expected from trying other OC'd rom's, so I didn't have to patch them.
MT browser I had working with v8 but i broke it somehow so it's not included until I figure out what the issue is.
Really like the 2.1 keyboard with voicesearch but theming it breaks the search buttons so i've stuck with the 2.01.
Overall performance has been great, lowest benchmark i've seen repeatedly over the 5 days has been 165.

I'll have the zip posted in about 5 mins.

That's actually what started me on this , I hated all the bright red themes I've seen and they were just overwhelming.

Oh it's in just not with the v8 engine.

I only noticed it broken this morning, so I just need some time to work out the how.

Only thing I can think of I did since it was working was updated my wifi tether to a newer version.
