Beast 7.6 is coming!!

has anybody been able to use Handcent with any of the BB roms? it had tons of problems when i first went with BB, 7.3 i think. i gave up using it after that.

anybody still using handcent and working fine?

Me too, no problems with Handcent. It's working as it should.

Not sure. Installed 0.7.6 late last night and the only thing I made sure of was that my phone booted back up. Next thing I know it's 5:50AM. I'll tinker with it today, but my initial impression is ooooh boy this thing is fast!

Super fast ROM. I'm really liking it. Ran into an issue where my widgets weren't showing up after a fresh boot but I think that had more to do with restoring them with Titanium Backup and not an issue with the ROM itself. Either way, it seems to have worked itself out after a couple boots.

This thing is nuts at 1200.

Well, luckily I'm very tech savy and know what ****ing up means. Seriously you could have given a few more details. However, after I installed 7.6 I could not get Metamorph to run and based on stuff I read on this and other forums here is what I did and it worked for me:

Open Terminal Emulator and enter the following commands:

su

mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system

chmod 755 /system/xbin/busybox

mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system

sync

reboot

Well, luckily I'm very tech savy and know what ****ing up means.

Because ****ing up means the same thing every time. Being in IT, I love phone calls that start like this. It's the same as someone calling and saying "it doesn't work". Well that's no good, mind informing what "it" is?

It a little over 70 meg if I remember correctly. It should download ok with a good connection or wifi.
