So we should be able to leave the 3 options automatically checked in the Nandroid restore option screen in Recovery (boot, data, system) and it should leave all our apps, widgets, etc. as they are currently if we are using the 1.0.0 version of your ROM?

Yes - even though 'data' is checked, there is no data.tar in the backup - so nandroid will leave your /data alone (which is where all your apps/settings are)

I guess he forgot the patcher for those who don't use auto brightness and rather have keyboard lights Just finished downloading it. I'll post feedback later..

Chevy, great update. However, I am still getting Launcher fc's (no forced reboots). Could this have anything to do with the other Launcher you posted yesterday that I installed or would the update have overwritten it?

Ah yes - I did forget about that In the meantime, use the tip in the OP to get the keyboard to light up. I will get to the patcher for you other guys.

Hmmmm ... it is the same launcher. Have you tried running the 2.0.1 launcher and see if that is stable?

Loaded up the 1.0.1 ROM and wasn't a huge fan of the new 2.1 launcher. Also found it to be a little buggy as I was swiping from screen to screen (swipe all the way to the left and then swipe to the right once and it would shoot back the previous screen on the left). I'll be going back to 1.0.0 since I found that to be quite stable and didn't mind the launcher. Good job though Chevy!
