02-09-2010 03:09 PMWell I wiped and did the nandroid backup, it seems that maps isn't actually included in this release at all. I just downloaded the new version from the market, seems to work great so far. setCPU doesn't appear to be having any problems either, but that could be because I did a "fresh" install.

02-09-2010 03:11 PMCan someone help me out a little? I have BB 0.7.2 and I want to upgrade to the latest version. I read the instructions on using the update.zip, but I don't understand what this line means "Uninstall any apk & odex files I previously moved to /data (Only If Installing Over 0.7 Or Previous ROMS)". I originally used the Nandroid backup, but I don't want to lose all of my data again. What does this mean?

02-09-2010 03:17 PMHmm. I'm not sure. I didn't bother trying because I only had a few apps installed, so it wasn't a huge deal. I am a strong advocator for MyBackupPro, however. It will save your SMS, MMS, settings, dictionary, and even your homescreen layout. VERY useful if you plan on doing a lot of tinkering with ROMs.

and to update all i have to do is put 7.5 in root and reboot and install?
its not better to backup or restore so i can get a fresh install????
with no crap stuck on my droid I.E. cache or de fragged system or something like that?
