I have this for anyone wanting to install BB. FOLLOW Matth3w sig. It is very easy to do. While it is not as easy as say Sholes he has the easiest set up to follow out there. I have Sholes on mine. My wife had Smoked glass but it started having bad problems. Had her do Sholes ( other story) but she had been reading and wanted BB. SO she sat down read through his links and installed it her self. Now my wife is by no means a very tech savvy person and she had not one problem following this set up. People really need to take the time and read up before just jumping in head first.

Thanks Matth3w for the links in your sig. It's a great step by step walk through. Now after playing with hers I do like BB but I'm not changing over right yet.

Is there any way to get rid of the horrendous typing lag on the multi-touch browser? I'm assuming there isn't because there isn't a thread about it, but its so annoying I thought I would ask

Likewise about how choppy the text gets when you scroll any way to fix that?

No there isn't, the milestone brower sucks for typing.

how do you make the 2.1 version have a smoked glass theme? i am new to themes, since most roms ive tried were themed.

I have BB installed no problem and love it. I have been reading and searching and Googling all morning and for the life of me can not get Metaphor installed. After I give it permission I get an error saying something about make sure Busybox is installed or you are out of memory. I have tried using the Terminal commands ect. Any help with this is greatly appeciated. Thanks and once again great ROM.

Never mind. What I needed was on page 23 of this thread. Just didnt read far enough before giving up. Thank you. Carry on.

Don't mean to sound like an a$$ but I followed the directions . In the instructions it says something about ' download Tools' well I didn't read the small print AKA instructions on the Droid screen about first downloading Astazip and Linda Files or something like that. SO I went back and did that in order and amazingly it worked. Good luck and the OP might want to clarify that before you 'Get Tools' you need those other apps. Just to Noob (idiot) proof your directions. Thanks again.
