Poll: What's your favorite ROM?

Honestly after trying Sholes 2.0.2 after running BB for a few weeks, I've found that they're almost exactly the same overall.....Sholes just offers a lot more options to allow you a little more choices which is a big plus, an it seems a little more stable to me ONLY at 800MHz though......for some reason the phone reboots and freezes at 1GHz, and that irks me...cause with BB I ran 1GHz about 90% of the time I had BB, and with Sholes I haven't been able to do that. I had absolutely no issues at 1GHz with BB, not one time did it randomly reboot or freeze.

OK, I have been waiting to root my phone. I don't know why, but something just kept holding me back. Today, though, I decided was the day. Thanks for this thread!! It really helped me make my decision. I'm going to go with B*Beagle.. Hopefully it isn't too much to figure out..

Yeah so after all that I actually went with Smoked Glass v4. Gotta be honest... I'm in love with this ROM. It has more than I expected and looks amazing!! I couldn't be happier with my Droid, and it doesn't even matter when 2.1 comes out anymore..

Need to include the new *****in bagel from sholes.. That I would vote for number 1 right now... I have spent the last couple months trying out all the ROMs. They all have their perks and downfalls. I like smoke glass, but BB is a great ROM too... I got a friend that knows nothing about hacking and root.. Yesterday and today sholes released the updater with *****in bagel.. This is a program of pure genius.. It is noob friendly too.. Me I love the manual hacks and customization, but there are so many out there that just can't figure it out. You get the updater. This thing will root your phone, updgrade the ROM, let you pick exactly what you want to have installed with the ROM, get rid of stuff you may not use, well technically rename and hide them, but it lets you cutomize everything from adding 2.1 apk things to overclock to tether and so on.. It creates your nandroid backups, flash the phone, and even incorporates the smoke glass for those that like that. All at the touch of a button.... AND for those that are worried that whenever the fabled 2.1 is coming out that they want to have a stock phone and get the OTA, this updater has an option to flash your phone to complete stock and remove root so its like you never did anything to your phone.. For experts and people that don't understand the greateness of the rooted world and want to learn this buds for you...

They went live with it free today, but PLEASE i paid yesterday to get this thing and it is worth all the money in the world.. Heck really smoke glass, BB, sholes it doesn't matter.. donate to these guys.. they are the reason we have cool stuff for our phones and they work hard.. not saying you have to give up your house, but at least throw them a few bucks...

They're doing a great job and they have costs to meet, help them out, their work is worth it.

New BB 0.7.5 at 950Mhz with SetCPU set to 'conservative' is REALLY FAST. Would suggest it to anyone looking for speed and stability.

Note: the 'conservative' setting seems to give much better performance than the 'on demand' especially on the new BB ROM.

Sholesmod 2.0.3, Launcher 2.1, Smoked glass, OC at 1Ghz. Not one FC, no battery pulls. Every thing works top notch and is stable at 1Ghz. Did not have any problems with any apps or widgets. I got this free, went back an hour later and donated. This is a great rom. Very very easy to install. Looking forward to what this team of people can keep bring out for us.
