so if im already running buless on my droid, can i still install this with the instructions listed or do i have to go back to stock, and then use the instructions?

Bugless should be fine to update with the instructions.
Only need to revert to stock if you are running a 2.1 ROM

I attempted to install the SMU today with much difficulty as you might see in some past posts. I finally uninstalled it to it's original 2.0.1 and everything is running pretty smoothly again. I do however have two widgets on my desktop..one says 'supervisor permission' and the other says 'bright control' neither of which are in the applicatioins management file so I can't uninstall them. I also have four screens now rather than three. Any ideas how I can get these icons off and make sure nothing was messed up on my droid? Should I go with a factory reset?

1st did u use this app to root, or were you already rooted?
2nd i posted a reply to your problem back some pages, did you follow that?
3rd, either way, if you were rooted before, yes a wipe should clear any bugs ,i am running 2.0.2 fine. if u used this to root, follow my earlier post.
the widgits u see are needed by rom, just clear them from your desktop and you will never notice them , exclude bright control from any task killer also.

I not sure if this has been answered yet...after your phone is rooted and its running the sholes mod, will you still be able to download and install factory updates..ie when flash 10 or the official 2.1 software comes out?

I am almost sure that OTA updates will be blocked, you'll need to wait til someone hacks out a 2.1 rom, but last I heard rumor that we were waiting til Q1 of next year, so by that time you'll probably have almost all the 2.1 functionality.
