ROM info Request

Ok, there is an absolute overload of information on this site, but not the information I need.

I have a Rooted Droid 2 (not global, not droid x, not htc). I used the app, Z4root, with no issue, for a permanently rooted phone.

I am using the Droid 2 bootstrap recovery tool to install a rom.

I personally dont have too many issues with the Factory Rom (gasp), but it disallows a feature that I need.

Here is what I need help with:

I need a Custom rom (dont care about the specifics) that will allow me to use some sort of voice recorder software to record phone calls.

I do not not want 50 replies about legalities. I don't care, and since they wont be used in court, I wont be getting caught.

What is a stable, droid2 compatable, custom ROM, that allows a call recorder to work?

So far, I don't think there is one. Wish there were! I would love to record some of my Ex's rants sometimes! I have a D2G. Apparently Motorola went out of their way to prevent call recording for legality issues, even though in many states (TX) it is perfectly legal as long as one party (you) knows the call is being recorded. The only viable one I found is expensive, and only works for outgoing calls. It's a service you dial in to, which then dials the number for you and records the call (both sides) then emails the recording to you. At $.07/min, it could get expensive quick!
