    flashing over cyanogenmod

    Hi,

I've had Cyanogenmod on my s2 for a while now really like it but figured maybe it time to try something else.

For argument sake if I were to run a backup with cwm, what exactly does the backup?
Can I now just install the rom I'm after, and have all my applications on there?
If not can you guys please tell me what software and how to backup my applications as well as the rom it self if it decide to go back.

Whenever installing a new ROM you need to wipe it.

so if I wipe it then I simply restore my backup from cwm, and I'll have all my file and apps etc?

Files on the SD cards will stay, but the stuff in the internal will be gone. You can use apps like titanium backup or my backup pro to backup/restore apps and their data.
