    htc incredible wont install cyanogen

    i have cyanogen downloaded onto my phone but as soon as i go to install it, it says installation incomplete or something like that and boots my phone with the stock rom..please help

    Obligatory "are you rooted?"

    Try redownloading the latest version, make sure you create a back up, and then wipe your cache and data. Then install from the zip folder.
    Are you running clockworkmod? Also, does the error say anything else? A number maybe?

    I actually just reflashed cyanogenmod 7 earlier today and the first time it froze on the logo screen. Then i realized I didnt wipe my cache. Worked flawlessly the second time around.
