Good, Stable ROM?
OK, I had to RSD/SBF my OGDroid back to stock froyo because i was having all the issues like what was in the thread over in the BB forum. So I've been looking around and there doesn't seem to be exactly stable or bug free ROM'S. Does anyone have any suggestions that I may have overlooked for a good stable ROM (froyo or GB) with minimal issues i.e. battery life, FC's and such? thanks in advance for your ideas.

D1 was built with Froyo as the last OTA released, so stick with that IMHO.
Sent from my XT862, while on the move.

That is what i was thinking about doing and just theming it, unless someone comes up with a better idea ... lol

I have been running this as well and it is absolutely a great rom. I love Droid Concepts as well, but I really prefer just a pure AOSP theme. Froyo runs great on the D1.

Give Sourcery a Run, the stock theme is very stock like with some improvements, 15 other theme choices are built in for auto flash and the stability and battery life are unmatched. It is Froyo 2.2.2 FRG83G based...

I've tried Sourcery, but not for too long. I'll definitely give it another go. A sourcery .zip is always on my sdcard
. The amount of customizability is pretty much unmatched. The ONLY issue I have is the need for a server for the rom to fully function. I'm a little uptight about wanting stuff built into the rom software (like cyanogenmod, I just can't get it to run as cool as other roms). It is just a weird preference of mine. It is absolutely a GREAT rom. I definitely like that it is 2.2.2 based as well.

Gotcha... i actually like the fact that what ever extras you want would be auto downloaded and are not on the rom, 15 themes should not be carried around as you only use one at a time..
Make sure you have the most recent version Sourcery 2.2 Kang... glad you like it.
