Bowers quick question I am running the same calender as you but what application is that next to it? for people worried about overclocking and frying your droid, It should be fine we have been doing it long enough for days on end. I love the look of 4.1 I upgraded from 4.0 same look but other gps utility programs are working now THanks adamz! I think this is the best rom I have used and am greatful that you spend your time to make us happy It runs smooth I don't use the 2.1 launcher as its slower and buggy. But the standard home which is amazing and clean. I would like to use the deticated call buttons stock launcher but as I said before chose not to use the home launcher. A lot of work was done to this rom and with the overclock I use 800mhz works fast no fc ect. The landscape mode unlock is kinda funny and I sure will be fixed but I rarely ever unlock in landscape. AMAZING rom 4.1 keep it up any questions on my testing let me know.

If u are referring to my main screen it a battery widget called battery life, the big clock is beautiful widgets, and the bottom is the power control.

As far as setcpu I use 550/550 for sleep, 550/250 foe failsafe, that's about all. I can't tell what really works great, just have to play with it.

I Just installed 4.1 running at 1 gig and it works great. One question I have is I never seemed to run Launcher 2.1. I still have the old launcher at the bottom. Any ideas why it did not load?

Of course the old one seems to be stable with no problems.

I thought I would mention WeatherBug would force close on the map with 4.0 it works now with 4.1.

Maybe I've done something wrong on this but here's what's happening. Everything installed great and everything runs well. Problem is the onscreen keyboard. First, there's no view of the predictive text (not sure if this is intentional) and second the keyboard seems VERY slow. If I try and type at a normal speed I get garbage. Is this a normal problem? Something maybe I should just accept or use another ROM? If anyone knows this issue or has experienced it I'd be grateful for any help.

When you choose advanced nandroid restore,after you choose the 4.1 file thats in your nandroid folder there will be a list of things,system,boot,recovery,data, and more, System,DATA,and boot should all have stars,go down to data and uncheck it so only boot and system and selected,if your on recovery 2b(can be seen at top of nandroid recovery) Then also choose recovery. Sorry this sounds confusing.

thanks ska...i'm all good now.that was an old post and i had the old sprecovery that didn't have the options.
