[Themed ROM] Smoked Glass w/ White Clock

so i tried switching roms..and nothing happened

i have BB 7.4 currently and followed the steps on the first post. downloaded the zip and extracted it to my nandroid folder. rebooted into recovery and performed and advanced backup of everything. formatted system in ADB. then went to advanced nandroid restore, chose the new rom and chose to restore boot and system...

phone reboots and my phone still shows im running BB 7.4

any suggestions?

Factory reset, then restore Smoked Glass ROM with system and boot only. After that do a restore of your backup with only data checked.

i wont lose root or anything w/ factory reset will i?

I have done the factory reset through nandroid myself and nothing gets lost. Such as root and sprecovery. Did you get any kind of error when you tried the restore the first time?

not at all, i just did it...as long as your logged in to google, itll back up your contacts and calendar and save your downloads under the market

question then, how do i factory reset via nandroid?

Boot into sprecovery (nandroid or whatever you want to call it). Should have options like backup/restore, factory reset, clear cache, and install.zip

Just replace the * with the rom you just download is all that means. If this is the first rom u are trying out from stock, I won't worry about the ADB format system this time. If you have more questions about ADB do a search on here about it.
