THIS ROM IS STILL IN THE ALPHA STAGES!!!!

Right now, this is just a rom to flash for fun. It doesn't have the necessities to be a dd. Feel free to test it out and leave feed back or if you notice something I haven't.

I've put a lot of time and effort into trying to modify R2doesInc's version of HC to function better on the OG droid. There are a lot of problems and I have a small understanding of that I need to edit or replace to get some of them working, but as anyone who knows anything about computers, partial wont work. Anyone interested in helping, please post here or shoot me a PM.

Hardware Acceleration
Much smoother UI (still quite laggy with CPU at 800MHz)

Hardware Acceleration (KIND OF)
The rom has much less lag now, after adding some files from Cyanogenmod Nightly 175

Auto Rotation (KIND OF)
You have to slide open the phone, and a lot of things are kind of chopped off
but it works

[Shift] Hardware Key
You have to hold it and then hit the key that you want,
but it works

Fixed SuperUser Permissions (with help from the dsixda Android Kitchen):
Added universal SU scripts and .apk

Fixed the Hardware Buttons:
Modified "/system/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl" to include functions for the power, volume and camera keys.


-On Screen Keyboard Solution found-
There was never really a problem to begin with all you have to do is touch anywhere you can type,
when you do an icon will appear next to the time. Press it and turn off the hardware keyboard.
Its a nifty function to switch between which keyboard you want to use
(especially since i couldn't fix the [ALT and [Shift] key the same way I fixed the hardware keys).

These pictures are misleading, for some reason red/blue are
inverted on the OG Droid's screen, but not when screen shots
are taken with a computer.

Well, the originator of the port (t3hh4xx0r.com) has stopped working on this, but on XDA r2doesinc said that they wanted someone else to pick it up because of the lack of a Droid 1. So I decided to step in and see what i could get working. Granted its only a couple things that don't make the rom any more functional, I'm dedicating a lot of time to trying to make this work. So far, its been an update roughly every week (started on the rom on the 1st).

As I mentioned in the first post, I'm new to devving and need all the help I can get with this. All help will be recognized in the first post beside what was fixed. I'm really excited to see if the OG droid can do the same as the HD2 and the ZTE Blade (both of which have the most functionality from HC). So if you have ANY devving experience, feel free to get a hold of me and we can start bringing this monster to life

Texting is a no go at the moment. Data is needed before we can text and i can't figure that part out yet. I need some help from a more experienced dev to get some of the last functions working.

Been a few days since I've even picked up my OG droid to work on it, but hey, what do you expect with the new roms being released for the bionic. I plan on working on this over the next few days so it can run smoother and maybe get some of the things wiped off of the "to do" list
