Turn Droid1 to 'iTouch'

I'll be upgrading to a new phone (SG II baby!) this year, and was wondering if there is any ROM out there that'll strip down the D1 to a Movie Player device only.

I guess I could always use a basic ROM and uninstall anything I don't want - all the media will be on the SD card anyway - would be nice to have a simple ROM with a simple UI - just select a movie from a list of available movies on the SD card and play them.

you should try Droid Concepts. With gingerbread causing all kinds of issues with it, froyo will be your best bet on watching movies/listening to music without the dreaded force closes and sudden kills of apps.
